The Live On Stage Permian Basin Scholarship is a one-time, $2,000.00 scholarship available to university/college-bound high school seniors seeking a career path in the entertainment arts. This includes vocal or instrumental performance, theatre/acting, theatre/technical, or music business. Our local winner will be presented at our Tuesday March 28, 2023 concert, “Hi Tide” at 7:30pm at Wagner Noel PAC. Our local winner will move on to the national Live One Stage Scholarship competition in Nashville, TN that offers two $1000 scholarships. Applicants with financial need will receive priority consideration, but it is not a prerequisite.
Abbigayle Keesee and her father Ken Keesee came to receive the scholarship from our board member, John Dzubinski. Abbigayle is graduating 13th out of 67 from Stanton High School. She will be going to Texas Tech majoring in music education. She plays the French horn and was a drum major.
We are happy to have her for our scholarship.
