The 2018-19 season of Live on Stage Permian Basin promises to be an exciting year. The lineup of artists is stellar and our 7th year in the new venue, the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, will be the ultimate setting for a season you do not want to miss.

Not Fade Away (Buddy Holly Experience)

Monday, September 24, 2018 – 7:00PM

An authentic energetic tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper and their infamous Winter Dance Party. Not Fade Away creates a new show that keeps the music alive, while remembering the importance and impact it had in history. A tribute to the pioneers of Rock ’n’ Roll.

 

The Malpass Brothers
Monday, October 8, 2018 – 7:00PM

Retro traditional country artists with magnetic personalities, Christopher and Taylor give new life to classic country music. Their smooth vocal blend, skillful musicianship and off-the-cuff quips are reminiscent of the country music legends to which they pay tribute. Performing hits by Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard and others. Authentic down-home entertainment.

 

Vox Fortura
Sunday, November 11, 2018 – 2:30PM

A powerhouse display of vocal panache and sheer class. With backgrounds in musical theatre, Vox Fortura is able to perform almost any genre of music in their iconic crossover style including selections by Elgar and Bizet’s Pearl Fishers to David Bowie, John Legend, and Ed Sheeran. Bringing classical vocals back into the mainstream.

 

Vocal Trash
Wednesday, January 16, 2019 – 7:00PM

Vocal Trash is entertainment with a conscience. An urban-themed Broadway style production that performs on custom instruments made from recycled materials. The interactive performance of singing, break-dancing and comedy leave the audience not only entertained, but inspired to spread peace, love and recycling. Glee Meets Stomp!

 

The Abrams

John and James Abrams are fourth-generation musicians signed to Warner Music. Touring their distinct Americana/Country sound worldwide for sixteen years, the brothers are among the youngest performers to play the Grand Ole Opry. Their live performances feature a virtuosic blend of familiar Country, Bluegrass and Gospel favorites. High-energy, entertaining Country Music.

 

Beginnings: The Ultimate Tribute to Chicago
Thursday, May 9, 2019 – 7:00PM

Beginnings performs flawless replications of the greatest songs from the golden age of Chicago. These superstars worked with legends like Don Henley, Steve Miller and more. Spanning four decades, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame band Chicago had five #1 albums and 20 top-ten hits. A vibrant musical tribute to the legendary band.
